Andrea Aker has been elected to the board of directors for Arizona's Product Development and Management Association. She will serve a two-year term as the vice president of marketing.

PDMA is the premier global advocate for product development and management professionals. 05/11/08 Aker Ink President Receives Master's Degree
Andrea Aker, founder and president of Aker Ink, has earned a Master's of Mass Communication from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Andrea specialized in online media and long-format feature writing. She designed and developed an online magazine titled Healing for her final project. The publication is a joint effort between ASU's Walter Cronkite School and the College of Design. It is targeted at the medical community of the Southwest and provides insight into the healing experience from a patient's perspective.

Andrea graduated with a 4.0-grade-average and was inducted into Kappa Tau Alpha, the National Honor Society of Journalism and Mass Communication. The top 10 percent of graduates nationally are inducted into the organization.
