Aker Ink is proud to welcome Taylor Renee Haynes as a Content Specialist. She will assist the account teams in developing compelling, insightful and targeted copy for a cross-section of campaigns and industries.
“Taylor is a gifted storyteller with a talent for dispelling complex issues into understandable and relatable language,” said Aker Ink President Andrea Aker. “Her skillset will be critical for supporting our clients’ content marketing efforts and PR strategies. We’re thrilled to have her on board.”
Prior to joining Aker Ink, Taylor Renee worked as a prolific freelance writer, serving as a regular contributor to Flag Live!, LA-based Locale magazine, Flood magazine, The Clever Root and travel startup Culture Trip. Her experience ranges from quippy reviews to in-depth essays and profiles.
Taylor Renee also brings marketing experience to the team, having assisted numerous companies with targeted outreach and content strategy. In this capacity, she helped establish successful blogs for Arizona medical dispensary High Mountain Health and the Los Angeles-based fashion label Filosofia.
“Aker Ink was a natural fit for me, as I had worked with Andrea and her team as a freelancer,” said Taylor Renee. “I loved the diversity and adventure that came with freelancing, but I wanted to use my talent to create a longer lasting impact within a company. Since Aker Ink places such a great emphasis on quality content and strategy, I knew I had an opportunity to further hone my craft and grow professionally.”
Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University, Taylor Renee earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Political Science. Throughout her time at NAU, she worked at The Lumberjack student-run newspaper as a respected journalist and Culture Editor. As Editor, Taylor Renee mentored a team of journalists and collaborated with the editorial staff to produce the weekly section.
Immediately following graduation, Taylor Renee worked as an editorial intern for the Sierra Club Grand Canyon Chapter, where she conducted and transcribed interviews with multiple community members and activists, documenting their first-hand stories.
